This site is run for Side O Lake MHC LLC. Here’s what happens to what you send us.

What we collect

If you send a note, we get your first name, email, phone number, what you’re interested in, and whether you asked for the newsletter. The form asks for both an email and a phone number so we can still reach you if an email doesn’t get through. If you email us, we get your email address and whatever you write. Our form host stores the note so we can reply. If site analytics are turned on, Google Analytics records anonymous page visits and clicks on the email links.

What we do with it

We use it to reply to you about homes at Side O’ Lake, and to send the email postcards if you ticked that box. We use your phone number only to reach you about your note. We never send texts, and we don’t sell or share your details for anyone else’s marketing.

Postcards by email

If you sign up for the email postcards, or tick the optional newsletter box on the reply card (it starts unchecked), we get your email address, phone number and, if you give it, your first name. The signup asks for both an email and a phone number. Your note goes through the same way whether or not you tick that box. We keep them with Loops (loops.so), the service that sends the emails, and use them only for those emails and to answer you if you write back. We never send texts, and every email has an unsubscribe link. The welcome email suggests one product for the home. That link goes to a shop page that links to Amazon, and as an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
